Are you an experienced labourer / drive who has experience of working in a building or construction environment and can work with a number of different teams? Are you someone who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing excellent customer services?
Our Property Maintenance team is expanding and we have an exciting new opportunity to join the team in Wythenshawe.
We are looking for a talented individual who has the experience and technical knowledge for this busy role and who will be able to work well as part of our extensive property team to deliver the best possible service to our residents.
We have an exciting opportunity for a labourer / driver to join WCHG. You will work with the team to provide a high general labouring service, including but not limited to the cleaning and clearing of properties after they have been vacated, which will include outside of the property as well as the loft space.
What you will be doing in this role:
Removal of furniture, white goods, carpets and general waste from vacated properties.- Maintaining a very high standard of cleanliness in the properties that you are working within, ensuring it meets health & Safety standards and is in a good state for trades operatives to both repair and get to a good standard to re-let.
- Working alongside other trades people, providing support and training as necessary where apprentices are used.
- You will need to ensure that any removal is disposed of correctly following all health and safety guidance.
- Liaising with customers when arranging and carrying out work.
- Driving and being responsible for a company vehicle when required.
- Using and being responsible for a company mobile phone and PDA.
Sometimes homes are not left in a hygienic state, and a key part of this role will be to ensure that the properties are back to a hygienic base level.
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is required.
