Job description
We are looking for individuals who have a willingness to work in various aread, Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Grantham and surrounding areas, and have the willingness to improve and pick up trade skill, though must already be able to undertake basic trade works.
Main Purpose of the Role
Carry out or assist in carrying out day to day labouring tasks in domestic dwellings including truck clearance and material delivery when required. Also be able to undertake basic trade works.
The post holder will be required to undertake such other duties as may be required within the grade and competence of the post holder. Therefore, the list of duties in this job description should not be regarded as exclusive or exhaustive.
Scope of the Role
- To carry out general labouring to all aspects of a domestic dwelling both internal and external.
- To carry our general maintenance duties, including disconnect and remove kitchens and bathrooms
- To liaise with planners, tenants and premises managers concerning the timing and progress of work being undertaken
- To ensure the safe handling and storage of all plant and equipment, including regular checks for road worthiness on Foster vehicles for which you are responsible.
- To undertake all work in accordance with Health and Safety policy statements and safe working practices
- To carry out all tasks in association with your works
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably allocated by the line manager
- Excellent customer care qualities are vital to this role. You will be expected to liaise with customers and clients daily.
