IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT FOR A LABOURER
Based in Hillsborough we manufacture a range of safety products in both Mild Steel and Aluminium and are well established within the industry.

Job Description –Labourer
Reporting to the Shop Floor/Stores Manager and Supervisor, you will be required to:
Core Role
- Assisting with the moving of components/loading and unloading of lorries.
- Building/Stripping our final fabricated jobs.
- Cleaning & preparation of goods prior to delivery.
- Packaging of goods prior to delivery.
- Cutting of component parts (handrail etc - when required)
- Ensure the workshop & stores area are maintained in a clean & professional manner.
- Ensure Health and Safety of self and colleagues by adhering to the Health and Safety at Work act 1974 and the company’s own Health and Safety Policy
- Carry out general housekeeping duties in line with company policy and Safe Systems of Work. Duties will be varied and may include cleaning machinery, sweeping and cleaning the workshop areas.
Other duties
- Assist Warehouse / stores person in the maintenance of stock.
- Assist fabricators, cutting, punching, drilling & related tasks as required.
- Other duties as directed by Warehouse person / Quality Manger.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.00 per hour

- Sheffield, S6 1NJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
