Type: Contract – Full Time - Permanent
Hours: 40 hour per week, Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Wage: £10.42 per hour

Purpose:
- Ensure all customers receive exceptional service in line with RHN core values.
- Ensure procedures and processes are followed in line with health and safety and to improve efficiency day to day.
- To work with Goods Inwards, Stock Control and Workshop Manager to co-ordinate all tasks/duties day to day.
- Ensure general labouring, housekeeping, and material preparation is monitored and managed throughout the day to support the efficient running of production.
Scope - main tasks and responsibility:
- To complete general labouring duties, moving material between production and stock/storage ensuring stock control are aware of any materials taken.
- Loading and unloading materials from lorries.
- Emptying bins on the shopfloor and in the sorting dept.
- Sweeping/hoovering workshop area, sorting and goods inwards. General housekeeping duties throughout ensuring walkways are kept clear in line with health and safety, including keeping the pavement outside goods inwards clear of debris, wrapping pallets ready for courier collection.
- Prepare all materials including using the hand and electric guillotine machine to cut any relevant materials for production. Ensuring material preparation and cutting up of materials is prioritised according to production schedule/delivery dates. Liaising with relevant press operators on their material preparation requirements day to day, ensuring any urgent jobs are prioritised.
- Loading rolls of materials onto the rollbars for the automatic machines/presses.
- Ensuring the goods inwards shutter is kept closed when not in use and answering the door for goods inwards when customers or delivery drivers arrive.
- Monitor the collection rack for orders being collected by customers, check off the order to the delivery note and ensure paperwork is signed by the customer.
- Move finished production goods into sorting area and ensure goods are labelled.
Skills:
· Methodical and very well organised
· Good people and collaboration skills
· Good communication skills (written and verbal)
· Self-confidence and an eagerness to learn
Experience:
· One years' experience in a labouring position
· Use of Microsoft BASIC software packages: Excel, Word, Outlook
· GCSE in Maths and English – or equivalent qualifications
