Job description
PURPOSE OF POST:
To undertake basic labouring responsibilities or to assist the Service Engineer as instructed, duties include but are not limited to the below:
Please note: this post involves staying away from home on an ad-hoc basis for which accommodation & evening meal costs are met by the company
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Undertake cleaning of Ovens and equipment in accordance with procedures
Filling and emptying cleaning bin in accordance with procedures and risk assessments
Fetching / carrying / loading and unloading materials and equipment
Receiving / unloading and storing / stacking materials and equipment delivered to site / workshop / base
Dismantling and moving oven parts and other catering equipment
Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and in good repair and report any damage or disrepair immediately
Ensure equipment and materials are safely stored during transit
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
It will be necessary to work with chemicals and machinery – employee is responsible for ensuring that they make use of the appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with company policies and risk assessments
To undertake other duties as requested and provide cover for other staff as required during periods of absence and holiday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00 per year
