Job Description:
The Laborer is responsible for the installation of fiber optic networks in hard-to-reach areas, including underground, underpasses, tunnels, etc. The Laborer will assist the Project Manager with organizing and maintaining the work area. The ideal candidate will have experience in lifting objects of up to 50 pounds, and can safely operate equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. The Laborer will take direction from an experienced leader and work independently but with effective communication skills. The individual must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Skills:
·Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and E-Verify
·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel and reach overhead
·Ability to safely operate equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
·Basic math skills
·Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions/policies and safety procedures/rules
·Ability to work overtime as needed (will train)
·Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, clients and clients' representatives
·Basic computer skills (MS Office Word Excel) required. Cloud computing platform preferred.
