Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a next gen software company who have a vision for the future of broadband; their team are building to increase consumer and enterprise value across the rapidly growing internet broadband sector by redefining approaches to automation, analytics, and improved tooling. They are looking to hire a proactive Project Manager to work with project teams and to ensure IT projects are completed on time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with stakeholders, project team and third party vendors
• Outline, define and initiate the project, manage stand ups, weekly reports through to completion
• Maintain a good working knowledge of assigned components of the projects
• Monitor project progress and implement changes where necessary
• Monitor expenditures in accordance with the budget
• Ensure compliance with objectives, organisational policies, procedures and standards
• Compile project reports and inform management of any issues
• Ensure project complies with best practices, SOPs and other policies
• Understand the underlying architecture of the development and can communicate to a non technical party

Skills and Experience:

• PRINCE2, knowledge of Agile and Waterfall
• Experience of working in ISP Telecoms, Managed Software Providers or Software Service would be beneficial
• 5+ years experience in a Project Management role
• Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems
• Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle SDLC
• Excellent leadership, organisational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role can be based remotely within the UK.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
