Full Time Malvern, England 24440 - 12.04 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

Looking for a new challenge?
You don’t need any previous experience to become a Support Worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our part time and full time roles at our residential service in Malvern, Worcestershire.
This is a permanent role, with contracts available for up to 37.5 hours per week. As a Support Worker at Malvern, you will receive £11.75 per hour/ £22,913 per annum. You will join our fantastic team at our residential home, where we support younger and older adults who have communication difficulties.
Set at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills, there are some lovely walks and picnic areas that we like to use. We are an active bunch, and we enjoy being out and about. We go cycling, horse riding, to hydro and music sessions, to cinemas and theatres and pubs. We enjoy holidays away, visits to and from family and day trips out all over the place.
We like to be involved at home too, and enjoy cooking, baking, arts and crafts and pamper sessions, and we love being in the garden doing jobs or just relaxing, so if you don’t drive you can still support us. There's ample free parking outside the house and if you do not drive we are only a 5 minutes walk from Great Malvern Station. We need staff to support us 24-7, so there are early shifts, late shifts, night shifts, and these are every day of the week. Some of us need help with medication, eating and drinking and continence support, and some mobility help.
The shift pattern will be as follows: Early shift 7:00am-2:30pm and late shift from 2:00pm-9:30pm. We also have the following shifts available: 10:00am-6:00pm and 11:00am-7:00pm.
There are opportunities to provide one to one support to the individuals we support with life skills and activities. We are open to applications from anyone including students who need to fit work around their studies as we have hours to suit you from part to full time and including relief/ bank staff hours. We’re looking for new people with the right values, experience is not essential, we’d just like you to have a ‘can do’ attitude, be honest, reliable, and compassionate.
Does this grab your interest? If so...
