Pinnacle Tree & Shrub Care provides tree care services in the Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas. We are locally owned and operated. Since 1977, we have studied this field and we strive to provide a high level of service and care, using the latest arboriculture techniques. We promote training and growth within our industry, and we provide in-house training. We are members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) as well as the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

Position Description:
The skills and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
· Groundwork support for tree climbers, rigging operation and cutting trees
· Operating chainsaws, chippers and other equipment
· Assist crew leader in prepping job sites, clean up and equipment maintenance
· Capability to drive a truck with a trailer
· Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the crew leader or designated supervisor, Arborist representative, or local manager
· Abide by industry safety policies and procedures
Experience/Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
· Valid “G” license required with a clean Driver’s Abstract
· Willingness to work towards becoming a certified Arborist
· Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
· Previous landscape/horticulture experience considered an asset
· An understanding of knots would be an asset
· Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress
