Only 2 positions left for HGV Class 1 Trunking Drivers Days, Afternoons and Nights Coventry
DSR are now recruiting 2 x HGV Class 1 HGV Drivers for one of Clients based in Coventry. You will be required to work to a system of process in terms of delivery schedule, you will not be required to handball and will only be doing trunking to Widnes and back. When the contract has downtime, you will be offered alternative trunking work suitable to your location.
Ideal candidate:
- You will be looking for easy transport position without all the hassles that come with day-to-day delivery changes.
- Someone who wants to just crack on with limited hours per day.
- Friendly professional and reliable is key for this position, as these positions are desirable.
- Max 6 minor endorsements on licence
As a professional driver you will be required to carry out daily checks, keeping within the law with Working Time Regulations, Driver’s hours to ensure compliance and infringements.
Daily Job duties:
- 0600 - 2200 starts Monday-Friday (Days, Afternoons, Nights)
- Weekends Available
- Trunking one trip to Widnes
- No Handball
- Minimum 8 hours Guaranteed per shift.
Job Requirements:
- UK HGV Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
- Full Driver CPC Certification
- Drivers Digital Card
- Max 6 Minor penalty points preferred
- 1 years UK HGV driving experience
Salary details:
- £16 Days/£17 Nights (Class 1)
- Guaranteed 8/40 hours per week
- Monday to Fri Day/Nights

- Paid on time correctly each Thursday (Fri occasionally bank dependent)
