Mountain Home Services (MHS) is a growing year-round residential and commercial property maintenance service provider. Previous Irrigation, plumbing or like experience preferred, but not required.

Hiring for Mon-Fri crew. ~20-40h/week.

Hourly Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 to start (Negotiable based on experience.)

Job Overview:
The role of an Outdoor Irrigation Labourer is to provide professional landscaping service under the guidance of an experienced maintenance supervisor who will provide direction and training. In the winters snow removal keeps our employees’ providing services to our clients in a permanent year-round position. Company provided training will ensure that employees can service customers to a high degree of quality keeping properties safe in the winters and beautiful in the summers.

• Ensure proper use and care of any tools that are used throughout the day.

Functions of the job include but are not limited too:

Irrigation:

• The irrigation labourer must be able to perform heavy manual labour, have a strong work ethic, work with minimal supervision in all environments and must NOT be afraid to get dirty or wet.
• Labourers carry out a variety of functions supporting installation, repair, and maintenance. These typically include identifying & moving materials, trenching & digging during installation, basic irrigation component construction & installation, and back-filling trenches & restoring the landscape after system installation.
• Reliability to commit to the entirety of each season, and to be a permanent, year-round employee.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Willing to learn through direction of a crew lead and irrigation supervisor as well as during formal training sessions provided by the company during slower times of the year.
• Interacting with clients in a professional manner and ensuring clear communication of any client requests back to the crew lead and management.
• Willing to maintain a professional, well-kept appearance while representing Mountain Home Services on customer sites.
• Follow company procedures for entering and leaving customer properties to ensure privacy, confidentiality, and security.
• Working as a member of a crew requires commitment to your teammates to show up for work to ensure duties are evenly distributed and visits can be completed as scheduled.
• Being sure to always be safe and conscious of heavy machinery while on job sites. Always expected to wear proper PPE.
• If driving a company vehicle or any machinery, you are always expected to operate in accordance to the law and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

• If required to drive valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract.
• Being accustomed to sustained physical activity and able to carry 15lbs on your back and lift 40 lbs.
• Access to a working cell phone for communication, safety, hour logging and documentation purposes.
• Good work ethic and common sense.
• Able to work independently as well as work in a team environment.
• Able to get to and from the workplace/yard for all scheduled shifts.
