The Government have set aside billions of pounds to install energy saving boilers, renewables and installation of insulation to prevent heat loss in properties. Broad oak heating and insulation have secured £80 million of funding over the next 4 years to deliver these products. Already a leading supplier in this industry Broad Oak install over 3000 energy saving measures per year and have been doing so since 2002, we have ambitious plans to meet demand and are looking for like-minded people who want to help both the planet and help people save money on their heating bills, there is huge potential to progress your career and earning potential within the business.
We have numerous enquiries from our web site, charities and local authorities who have had contact from people in fuel poverty requiring our help. As with any government funded scheme there is a host of terms and conditions for the home owner to qualify, and it is this information we need to collect (via telephone) from the home owner, to ensure eligibility for the scheme.
Due to expansion, we are looking for a motivated individual who has a caring personality to join our family business so that we can continue to offer our genuine service to more people who need our help
Responsibilities of the role:
· Calling potential customers who have expressed an interest in our services.
· Following up with customers over the phone to ensure they are eligible for the grants, offering help and advice where needed.
· Collecting information correctly and accurately from the customer and sharing information via our secure portal to our Head Office team so they may follow up with a survey/installation.
Requirements for the role
· A friendly telephone manner
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude which inspires and motivates others
Hours
15 - 20 hours per week Monday to Friday between 4.00pm - 8.00pm
Location
Working from Home - Although you are required to attend the office in Staffordshire for on-going training on a monthly basis.
Experience in Telesales would be advantageous but not essential as full training and on-going support will be given with opportunities for development and progression.
Competitive rates of pay based on experience. Any incurred expenses will be paid.
