Cheltenham College seeks to appoint two Roofing and General Labourers. Reporting to the Works Manager, the post-holders will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the many roofs, gutters, drains and downpipes at the school.
In addition to roofing tasks, the post-holders will also assist in general labouring duties around the campus and this could include, maintenance of fences, paths and walkways, mixing concrete, and other general tasks as directed by the Works Manager.
Whilst it is essential that applicants have experience of working on construction sites, we are in the position to consider applications from individuals who are starting out in the profession and would be willing to undertake a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Roofing/Construction.
The salary range for this role would be between £22,113.00 to £24,063 depending on experience.
Apprenticeship: If candidates were to apply for the role with a view to enrolling on a suitable Apprenticeship, the salary would be commensurate/competitively higher than the government Apprentice rate.
