Job description
Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking applications for experienced Laborer's for various commercial projects in Alberta.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Excavate and install underground pipe
- Set up and operate trench sloping laser levels
- Install concrete precast man holes and catch basins
- Gravel backfill for concrete slab
- Placing and finishing concrete
- Final grading
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment
- Cleaning and preparing sites, cleaning up debris.
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor and use of hands and tools
- Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks as outlined daily
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of industrial laborer experience assisting crews and spotting construction equipment
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection
- EWP
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor
- Valid Drivers License
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
The successful candidate must be able to produce a negative result on a drug and alcohol screening test.
