Job description

Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking applications for experienced Laborer's for various commercial projects in Alberta.

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

Excavate and install underground pipe
Set up and operate trench sloping laser levels
Install concrete precast man holes and catch basins
Gravel backfill for concrete slab
Placing and finishing concrete
Final grading
Transport materials, tools, and equipment
Cleaning and preparing sites, cleaning up debris.
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor and use of hands and tools
Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks as outlined daily

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of industrial laborer experience assisting crews and spotting construction equipment
CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
WHMIS 2015
Fall Protection
EWP
Confined Space Entry & Monitor
Valid Drivers License
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions

The successful candidate must be able to produce a negative result on a drug and alcohol screening test.
