Siemens Healthineers is looking for a skilled and collaborative Laboratory Technician to join our inclusive team in Llanberis. The role comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.
Our Technicians perform a wide variety of roles including immunoassays, data interpretation, basic statistical analysis of generated data, protein conjugation, analytical methods including SDS-PAGE and Western blotting, and manufacture of production components.
In your first few weeks in this technical technician role, you can expect to:
- Conduct semi-complex tests or investigations pertaining to the development of new designs methods, materials, or processes and investigate the possible application of results
- Obtain, correlate, and analyse technical information needed to accomplish semi-complex tasks
- Provide support in preparing reports, charts, graphs, and other documents.
To apply for this technician’s role, you will need a BSc or equivalent in biological science-based degree and relevant industry experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices or Diagnostics is preferred. You will also require the following:
- Relevant transferrable experience (particularly in analytical methods)
- Demonstrable experience in a laboratory environment
- Attention to detail, time management skills and teamwork
- Commitment, integrity, and a high level of self-motivation.
