Job vacancy – Laboratory Technician - Prozomix Limited
Salary: £19,000 a year, moving to £22,500 following completion of 3 month probationary period plus annual bonus
Location: Prozomix Limited, West End Industrial Estate, Haltwhistle
Working pattern: Immediate start, permanent, full time 37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours per day (flexible start time) i.e. 8:30 am – 5 pm or 9 am – 5:30 pm etc
Prozomix Limited is a biotechnology company based in Haltwhistle, Northumberland. We are world leaders in enzyme discovery and enzyme production, with our enzymes being used in processes to make cancer drugs, COVID medications and hepatitis treatments amongst many others.
We are looking for a permanent laboratory technician to join our friendly but fast paced team. We require a reliable, proactive, organized, efficient individual with excellent attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and excellent record keeping skills. Whilst an advantage, experience within a lab is not essential. No degree or qualifications in a science discipline is required but a willingness to work in a busy environment is crucial.
