About the department and the role
Our Textile Laboratory prepares and tests to exacting specifications for product release and provides accurate and reliable data for product development and continuous improvement across the business to improve product and processes. You would be preparing and testing our fabric and yarns (both physical and chemical), recording test data accurately and in a timely manner and ensuring equipment is working safely and calibrated correctly.

Skills, knowledge, and experience required
· Minimum GCSE or equivalent in science and maths
· Excellent attention to detail
· Good communication, both written and verbal
· Good hand dexterity
· Good arithmetic skills
The following is desirable
· Knowledge of manufacturing Laboratory good practice
· Experience of using Microsoft Office applications
· Experience of working in a similar environment
Hours of Work: 12 hour shifts, working 7 shifts every 14 days, rotating
06:00 to 18:00
Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun
Week 2: Wed & Thurs
