Job description

Here at the West Brom we have an opportunity for a Project Manager with extensive experience of delivery complex Cybersecurity projects to join our team. This is an incredibly exciting time to be a joining the formative part of the ongoing implementation of our IT Information Security strategy delivering transformational change across the business.

Working alongside the existing Portfolio and Project Managers you will ensure that business and technology initiatives align with the Society’s strategic direction and Security principles; being the lynchpin for the implementation of the security strategy from beginning to end.

Your key responsibilities cover:

  • Delivery of a multi project portfolio across a Security Programme
  • Delivery of Cyber Security Projects including IAM, PAM, 3rd Party Risk, BYOD.
  • The creation of Impact Assessments and Solution Options
  • Working with architecture colleagues as well as business and technical stakeholders to ensure customer and business impacts of proposed changes and solutions are understood
  • Assisting the Business Enterprise Architect in the running and management of the Business Review Board
  • Developing and maintaining business architecture collateral within the Society’s architecture repository

The key experiences necessary for success in the role include:

  • Proven experience in delivery Cyber Security projects
  • Proven experience of successful delivery of projects involving Microsoft Security
  • Proven experience in delivering projects employing both Agile and Waterfall based methodologies
  • Understanding and awareness of NIST
  • CISSP OR CISM qualified would be desirable
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, Scrum, PMP
  • Breadth of knowledge across the infrastructure technology stack, including Cloud technologies
  • Experience with managing budgets
