Job description
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Laboratory Medicine Management Team, Service Manager, Clinical Lead, Laboratory Medicine Board and its subcommittees, and the Administration and Support Services Manager
Some duties will include:
- Diary management for the Lab Medicine Management Team and meeting room.
- Answering telephone enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
- Organisation and circulation of meeting documentation
- Minuting/taking notes of meetings
- Data collection and submission to Finance – income generation
- Ordering of consumables
We pride ourselves for being the front of house team for Laboratory Medicine dealing with queries from other areas of the Trust, patients and visitors, GP and community settings, providing an excellent customer service.
