Introduction
As an Arla Laboratory Assistant at our Settle Creamery, you will Analyse and evaluate products and materials to ensure that quality and approved analysis standards are met.
Following a significant investment in the site in 2021 and a subsequent expansion in the team, you’ll play a key part in turning the raw milk into our great products ready for packing.
So what do our Intake Operators actually do?
- As an Intake Operator, you will be integral to site operations
- Conducting tests to analyse products and materials
- Interpreting results of analyses and escalating non-conformance issues as required
- Communicating results to relevant departments
- Ensuring that instrumentation is functioning and that calibrated and verified methods are used
What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role
- A strong sense of professional integrity and a passion for producing high quality work
- An attention to detail to ensure all recording is 100% accurate
- The ability to communicate effectively with external and internal teams
- If you have manufacturing/ food manufacturing experience, that’s great. If not, we can coach you.
