We are looking for a highly motivated individual with relevant experience to join our Laboratory and Goods In team. Candidates should be organised, confident and able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. We are looking for people who can work as part of a team and take pride in getting it right. This is permanent, full-time role.

As a Laboratory and Goods In Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the function and efficiency of both the Chemistry and Microbiology departments.

Key duties:

• Ensures all customers samples and chemicals are booked in accurately and efficiently and under the correct environmental conditions.

• Ensure customers are quickly notified of receipt of samples in a professional manner and to the high standard of customer service.

• Ensuring missing items or discrepancies are reported and investigated with appropriate actions put in place to mitigate loss to the business.

• Ordering and booking in of consumables / placing order

• Goods In – taking and processing delivered parcels, manual working involve.

• Responding to email and telephone enquiries, sending parcels or letters

• Support the wider inventory team and laboratory technicians when required.

• Ensure compliance to security, health and safety and regulations at all times.

• Following company’s SOPs

• Clean work environment.

• Strong IT Skills (MS Packages, Excel is an Advantage, Outlook)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Keen attention to detail and data entry

• Adaptable and Meticulous

• Pro-active with the ability to problem-solve.
