TestLabs are looking for a Laboratory Analyst to join our Laboratory team. This role will be successful in its delivery with attendance to our office in Peterborough.

What do we do?
A one of a kind, UKAS Accredited testing facility, Test Labs provides decontamination tests for all products and equipment used in healthcare settings. Working alongside healthcare professionals and analysing the industry, with the support of a team of scientists and custom-built facilities, we’re harnessing our acquired knowledge to research infection prevention and control questions.
What are we looking for in this position?
The Laboratory Analyst will be reponsbible for contributing and supporting to routine testing of products, assisting with developments in the lab, perform procedures and adhere to the quality compliance standards.
What will you do?
- To contribute and support in a program of routine testing of products and technology including medical device.
- To support and conduct testing for material compatibility of products such as biocides, medical devices and disinfectant technologies.
- To support and conduct the testing of products at various points of their development and diagnosis of test failures down to component and software level
- To provide information and support to create detailed and accurate test reports
- Support in the development of test methods and procedures
- To support with the implementation of test methods to identify product failures
- To support with the identification of corrective action to allow further product development stages
- Maintain testing equipment, calibration records and master equipment inventory
- Perform calibration procedures in order to issue calibration certificates, where necessary
- Ensure quality compliance standards are adhered to, ensuring auditable data is produced
- Support and follow the implementation of project plans, standard operating procedures and risk assessments
- Communicate with the team to participate in determining objectives
- Support in creating testing rigs and the set-up of testing procedures
