Position Summary
Reporting to the Dry Goods Warehouse Team Leader, the Label store TQA is responsible for ensuring stock holdings are maintained to best support operational requirement. The label store operator provides a professional and dedicated service to all production lines. We are committed to deliver performance targets in safety, quality, cost, and service; seeking to exploit any/all opportunities to make improvements. We require flexibility to ensure we are supporting the site.
Job Description
- Fulfilling label orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate stock holdings.
- Process label deliveries from 3rd Party suppliers.
- Process label returns from line.
- Undertake stock destruction as directed.
- Compliance: stock checks, quality checks and data recording.
- Engage with planning to ensure stock is ready in advance of production requirement.
- Work alongside quality teams to manage faulty supplied stock, managing holding of incorrect stock and assisting in managing returns process
- Control stock of critical market tax materials (strip stamps)
- Work as a team across shifts/halls and in conjunction with different functions (quality, planning etc.)
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will be computer literate, especially with SAP and MS Office. Knowledge of Quality, Safety, and hygiene compliance procedures is also required. Stores, stock control and/or warehouse working experience is desirable.
