This role is 6-month fix term contract
What you’ll be doing
This Laboratory Analyst position is in our Inorganic Chemistry department which has the highest throughput of samples in the laboratory.
- The role involves the preparation and analysis of samples, using colorimetric, gravimetric and automated analysis. You’ll be working within the team to help deliver results for the samples to ensure we get the best for our customers, environment, and organisms within the basins we protect. As well as using these systems we use traditional methods of testing which keep your skills energetic and constantly developing
- You’ll be working with quality management systems to ISO/IEC 17025, with MCERTs and DWTS for certain methodologies.
What you should bring to the role
- Have an A-Level in a science-related subject
- Follow strict instructions and guidelines to produce, record, maintain and verify data within a highly regulated UKAS accredited Laboratory
- Be comfortable carrying out repetitive work and have a real passion for working in a laboratory
- Have our customers at the heart of everything you do and value being part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service
