Description:We are seeking a Engineering Lab Technician with experience in Small Unmanned Air Systems (sUAS) to assist our engineering team. We are a multi-disciplinary group with mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineering expertise. We develop new products and solutions along with supporting our current tactical sUAS product line. We are looking for a candidate who will enthusiastically work with engineers and others to help us develop and expand our portfolio.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent education in engineering-related discipline.
- Experience with:
Lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies and calipers
Crimping wire leads and building wiring harnesses
Reading mechanical and electrical technical documentation such as assembly drawings and schematics
Assembling mechanical hardware to specification, using torque drivers, etc.
Desired Skills:
- Associate's degree or equivalent education in engineering-related discipline, with a minimum of 1 year professional experience
- Part 107 qualified sUAS pilot
- Experience flying, building, and repairing sUAS products
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to learn new skills and proactively contribute to the engineering team

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
