Job description

Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Salford based client who are a well-established food manufacturing business. Our client is looking for a laboratory assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

Shift/salary:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00-18:00
• £10.42 per hour
• Weekly pay

The role:

• Making up samples by following written instructions
• Testing PH levels using a PH meter
• Viscosity checks
• Visual/appearance checks
• Moving items/products where required
• Labelling items/products as per clear instruction
• Tidying work areas and keeping walkways clear
• Moving products through to incubators
• Other duties as requested

The candidate:

• Reliable
• Receptive to training
• Basic administrative skills
• Computer literate
