KYC Refresh Issues Management Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays KYC Refresh Issues Management Analyst, you will be a specialist member of the KYC (Know Your Customer) team specialising in supporting the whole of KYC Client Onboarding as a point of contact for audit and compliance reviews from a control’s perspective. This is an exciting role where you will work and liaise directly with internal stakeholders at all levels and work in partnership with other Barclays teams to deliver a ‘One Barclays’ client experience.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
· Providing End to End dedicated and robust specialist KYC expertise throughout the Issues Management Process
- Using expert KYC knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills to analyse information, that has been provided by the KYC team
- Maintaining a high standard of accuracy during all stages of the, taking ownership to resolve issues
- Working towards deadlines to resolve Audit, Assurance Testing or ORAC due dates and interacting professionally
- Utilizing solid communication skills to explain the reasons for our control requirements, to the KYC teams and other internal stakeholders where required
- Contributing to a Positive, Supportive and Proactive working culture by sharing knowledge and expertise both locally and globally
- Liaising with other teams & functions to consistently deliver an excellent ‘One Barclays’ Client experience and challenging operational processes with solutions
- Conducting a gap analysis on procedures vs policy, have a solid grasp of how these are governed and how to interpret the policy
· Excellent time management skills to be able to proactively manage your workload effectively to complete complex and high-priority tasks within target timescales
- End to End KYC Knowledge, knowledge and experience of the importance of KYC to the Bank through the various lenses, i.e. risk and regulation
- Must have the ability to work well under pressure, use initiative and able to work with minimal guidance
· Good grasp of KYC policies, procedures, and processes
· Excellent communication skills, across all platforms, with the ability to flex styles to the needs of different stakeholders
- Knowledge of Investment and Corporate Banking
- Expertise in the legislation that affects Barclays and our Clients (including the Data Protection Act, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act, and the like)
- Specialist knowledge and understanding control framework and policies
