We are a global digital cross-border payments service provider, strategically poised to revolutionize how treasury solutions are being offered to businesses and individuals across frontier markets.
We operate out of over 10 countries and will expand business operations across 35 countries within the next 5 years.
The Leatherback solution allows users to convert their monetary balance to the local currency where they are while also allowing them to get paid in that local currency without the need to open a bank and worry about high banking charges.
We are looking for a KYC/QA Manager who is authorised to work in UK to join our London office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Undertaking due diligence on all new and existing clients, partners, and suppliers
- Performing reputational checks, including politically exposed persons screening and adverse media and sanction checks
- Ensuring full adherence to Leatherback's policies and operating standards
- Completing quality evidence-based reviews within agreed timescales
- Examining due diligence documents and information on the customer file based on specific trigger events, making sure they are adequate and up to date
- Identifying potential red-flag issues and following up to resolution in line with policy / procedure
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of AML, CTF and KYC regulations and advising frontline colleagues as required
- Supporting the Compliance team in our mission to instill best practice and continual improvement
Skills, Ability and Experience
- Experience and knowledge of KYC / AML regulations and procedures (ideally in a financial services setting)
- Previous experience onboarding MSBs and Money transfer Businesses
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with your team and colleagues across the business
- Recognised qualifications in the fields of KYC, CTF and AML would be advantageous
- UK Work Authorisation.
