The KYC Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing KYC operations across UK-IE, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices. This role involves managing regional KYC teams, coordinating with headquarters, and maintaining a strong working relationship with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regional KYC operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of KYC teams within UK-IE, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place to identify, assess, and monitor customer risk profiles in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Compliance and regulatory adherence: Ensure that KYC processes, policies, and procedures within the region are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Stay up to date with regulatory changes and updates, and implement necessary adjustments to regional operations as needed.
- Team management and development: Lead, mentor, and manage KYC Operations Supervisors and their teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance the team's capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordination and collaboration: Work closely with headquarters, including the Group International KYC Manager and other key stakeholders, to align regional operations with the company's overall strategy and objectives. Collaborate with other regional managers to share knowledge, identify best practices, and promote a consistent approach to KYC operations across the organization.
- Performance monitoring and reporting: Regularly review regional KYC operations performance, providing updates and reports to headquarters as required. Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to address identified gaps or inefficiencies.
- Stakeholder engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, industry peers, and other relevant stakeholders, representing the company's interests and ensuring a positive reputation within the region.
- Risk management: Actively monitor and manage regional risks related to KYC operations, escalating any potential issues to headquarters in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on KYC, AML, and compliance.
- Proven experience managing teams and overseeing operations within a regional or multi-national context.
- Strong understanding of local and international AML/KYC regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.
- Ability to travel to the countries of the region and the company’s headquarters.
- Fluent in English.
