Responsibilities
- Reviewing and correcting written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors
- Ensuring consistency and clarity in the language and style of the text
- Making suggestions for rephrasing and rewording sentences as necessary
- Communicating with the team/author to ensure that all feedback is taken into account
- Meet tight deadlines Ensuring the text is compliant with the client's instructions Provide academic feedback
Requirements
- Undergraduate or Master's degree
- Native fluency in English
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to give strong academic feedback
- Excellent attention to detail Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax rules
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience with editing and proofreading a plus
- Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style or other major style guides a plus
- Experience with technical or legal documents a plus
