KYC Offboarding Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays KYC Offboarding Analyst you will work with our stakeholders to achieve a manageable client base to ensure the correct level of service is provided to the right clients. You will align the Bank’s client population with its overall investment strategy to reduce the number of accounts requiring regulatory maintenance. You will also be responsible for introducing a robust process to identify inactive and dormant clients/accounts and deactivate them in a controlled manner.

What will you be doing?
- Running various processes during the Offboarding process including logging requests, activity data gathering, running analysis, performing control functions
- Being responsible for overseeing continuous improvement initiatives/project work and associated analysis
- Utilizing internal systems to both manage workflow and respond to queries regarding the status of specific requests
- Building solid working relationships and liaising with internal and external stakeholders/dependents including Sales, Trading, Credit, Legal, IT & Operations
- Being an effective and articulate communicator via e-mail and telephone especially important when communicating requirements and managing stakeholder expectations
- Liaising with all levels of Front Office, Credit, Legal, IT and Operations, as necessary as part of the process
- Managing multiple activities effectively and prioritize as needed with a detail orientated mentality
- Being self-motivated and highly driven with a willingness to accept challenges and work with tight deadlines
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in all Microsoft packages , proven intermediate/advanced excel skills
- Experience within Risk & Control and working with/analysing large datasets
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL (any language)
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience of working with key stakeholders of any level
- Knowledge and understanding of financial products including trade cycle flows, Barclays booking/settlement systems
- Knowledge of applications e.g. SDS, Jetbridge, Tableau
- Experience of Barclays Hypercube Database
