Train'd Up are a national Apprenticeship training provider, we are seeking to support KONE UK in the recruitment of new start Apprentice Lift / Escalator Engineers. We have opportunities in various locations including: Birmingham, Basingstoke, Nottingham, Bristol, Plymouth, Southampton & Peterborough.

Working week:
- Monday - Friday between 8.00am - 4.00pm
- Total hours per week: 39.00
- Expected duration: 42 months
- Possible start date: September 2023
- Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Apprentice Elevator / Escalator Engineer with KONE plc a brief overview of the role: KONE ensure that Apprentices receive the work-based training required by providing all the necessary facilities, resources and opportunities to acquire the skills of the vocation.

Daily duties will include:
- Shadowing and working with Engineers on various sites
- General maintenance or installation of lifts / escalators / doors
- Servicing lifts / escalators / doors including fault finding
- Dealing efficiently and effectively with customers

Desired qualifications: Must hold or expect to achieve 5 x GCSEs A - C grades including Maths, English, Science (or equivalent).
Future prospects: The qualifications and experience gained on this Apprenticeship will allow you to apply for further roles within this sector.
Things to consider: Work-based training will primarily be in your work location, however you must be prepared to travel.
Please note that an annual increase will be awarded subject to targeted achievement. The initial annual wage is £14700 (subject to uplift due April 2023 with a further three incremental pay increases subject to performance)
Apprenticeship funding support is based on applicants who will be aged 16 + on the Apprenticeship start date in September 2023. You must live within travelling distance from the area/office of the position that you are applying for.
