Job Opportunity: Knitwear Machinist
Eribe Knitwear Manufacturing, Tweedbank, require a machinist to help in the production of high-quality knitwear.
We are a small company of approx. 30 team members working on the factory floor
Machines include Bartack, lock stitch, buttoning, button holing, tabbing & lock stitching / Sewing machine among others.
Prior experience in some machines is an advantage but trainee position may be available for the right candidate.
Hours: Full time 37.5hrs week, though part time also considered. Possible to accommodate different finishing and start times within reason.
Salary: Dependent on experience, quality & speed
Location base: Tweedbank
Ideal candidate should work quickly and neatly and enjoy the challenge of increasing their speed. They should be happy to work across multiple machines and have a good eye for detail.
As a small factory the ideal applicant would be happy to work in other areas of the production process as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £7.00-£11.00 per hour
