Position:
The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of 7 to 10 gaj shima sake machines . The Machine Operator will inspect, test, and maintain equipment to ensure production quality. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for the setup, operation, and cleanup of the machines.
Essential Duties:
- Inspect parts to ensure they are properly finished
- Set up machines to run specific processes
- Move parts from machine to stock using hand tools
- Stack finished products on shelves or racks to keep them from getting wet or dusty
- Clean finished products and machine tools to keep the fact environment clean
- Keep the factory area organized and clean through housekeeping services
- Communicate with Production Manager regarding machine operations and overall production goals
- Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
·High School diploma or equivalent required. A high level of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. A college degree is preferred but not required. A high level of computer knowledge is required. The ability to read blueprints is essential. Must be proficient in English. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to push, pull and lift heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
