Role Overview
As the Data & MI Analyst you’ll be required you to draw on your technical expertise and experience to draw together high volumes of audit data, developing MI and analysis to provide user friendly insights to inform and support changes to policies, processes, and agent support tools as well as providing detailed MI to support colleague training and development .
What you’ll do:
Providing day to day support for the QA MI Data and Insights Manager, assisting with planning and reporting, scheduling and BI requirements for the Quality Team and the wider business
Acquire data from various sources to produce a range of scheduled and ad-hoc BI for a wide business audience (from team manager to Director Level), ensuring work meets the business needs, is timely, clear and accurate, effectively presented, and easy to interpret
Support the Quality Teams with capacity planning, holiday allocation and scheduling of activities.
Maintain the Quality Management System (Verint) for the Global agents, both within QA and the wider business
Maintain the QA scorecards within the Quality Management System with any changes and/or updates within a timely manner
Maintain and further develop the suite of QA Access and SQL based Applications for use within the Quality Team
Validate and verify all data sources on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms (Verint, PowerBI, and Data Warehouse)
Utilise complex and diverse data to develop appropriate random and targeted samples in accordance with the documented QA Framework sampling methodology.
Create workflow volume and team resource forecasts to plan and build work schedules for a large Quality Assurance function (circa 140 FTE) across a number of FCA regulated areas within Bupa BGUK
Deliver audit forecasts, distribution of auditable items, and presentation of insightful MI to ensure that a workable, dynamic QA model is in place, to minimise risk and maximise business opportunities.
Develop and deliver QA MI management and operating processes including the building and development of MI delivery platforms sourcing data from a multitude of QA native and third-party systems to provide accurate self-service delivery to Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers and Directors across the BGUK Market Unit supported by good governance and documentation of those processes
Create automation and efficiencies in data sourcing and MI delivery to ensure accurate MI is delivered in a timely manner as required.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of appropriate tracking and scheduling tools providing accurate and timely risk profile information
Provide both prescriptive and predictive trending and analysis on QA data outputs to ensure a workable, dynamic QA model is in place, to minimise risk and maximise business opportunities.
Responsible for the production and delivery of accurate QA samples and associated resource plans, to ensure continuity of FCA regulated activity across the QA function
What you’ll bring:
Intermediate to Advanced experience of using SQL
Experience using Microsoft Applications, especially Excel and Access, with a focus on formulas and Visual Basic Applications coding
Experience using PowerBI, including DAX formula would be advantageous, but not necessary
Good numerical reasoning, attention to detail and accuracy
Experience of gathering, interpreting and presenting information/data
A good understanding of database architecture
Good written and verbal communication skills
Effective listening and questioning skills
A strong team player with the ability to work under own initiative
An ability to effectively and logically troubleshoot problems
Experience with Verint would be advantageous, but not necessary
