Trago Mills (Merthyr Tydfil) - Kitchen Sales Designer
Conveniently located just off the A470 (Swansea Road) and opposite the Cyfarthfa Retail Park in Merthyr Tydfil, our Merthyr store consists of over 23,200 square metres filled with over 180,000 home and leisure products.

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week working 5 days from 7
Salary
£22,000 basic, OTE £30,000 plus generous staff discount scheme
Responsible to
Retail Store Manager
Role Summary
· To work flexibly, undertaking retail and such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

· Retail store management and colleagues
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities
· Greeting customers who enter the showroom
· Helping to understand and develop their requirements and expectations
· Designing a bespoke product that meets the requirements of the customer and oversee the process from design to delivery
· Developing excellent business relationships with customers
· Creating and submit quotes to customers
· Helping customers find the goods and products they are looking for
· Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all fixtures, equipment and fabric of the shop premises
· Responsible for taking cash, card and finance payment
· Advising on stock counts
· Promoting special offers in-store
· Handling complaints or passing them to a manager
· Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required
· Prepared to carry out arduous work, either physical or mental
· Willing to take on reasonable additional responsibility as necessary
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience
· Previous design and retail experience required

· Good written and verbal communication skills
