Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant Tankersley, England
Job description
Mercure Barnsley Tankersley Manor Hotel & Spa are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our our Kitchen Team on a part time basis. Reporting to the Head Chef, your main duties will be:
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all meal preparation areas
- Sweeping and mopping all kitchen areas during shifts and at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that food mixers, cookers and other cooking equipment are in good working order
- Receiving and unpacking all deliveries
- Emptying, re-lining and washing bins as required
- Ensuring that refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas are clean and well-organised
Owned by BGAM Hotels who operate multiple branded hotels across the UK, Tankersley Manor is a 4-star hotel, operating under a Mercure franchise, located just off junction 36 of the M1 motorway
