Applicant must be flexible for midweek shifts 12pm - 9:30pm. 15+ hours per week.
Kitchen Team Member Position Overview:
As a Team member in our kitchen you need to work well under pressure. Most of the time you will work as part of a team but there will be time that you will work alone. Someone that is adaptable and confident in a kitchen is best suited to this position.
Kitchen Team Member Job roles:
- Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards to eliminate cross-contamination
- Operate ovens, ensure proper time/temp of all hot & cold foods
- Keeping on top of dirty dishes, i.e. periodically running the dishwasher between other tasks
- Maintain clean food-safe preparation and demonstrate proper food handling area throughout shift
- Communicate between other Team Members to ensure areas are always stocked
- Learn and maintain knowledge of our changing salad menu + ingredients
- Managing fresh food stock intake and rotation of dates in refrigerator
- Maintain the 5* Food Safety Rating
- Understanding of allergens and taking measures to prevent cross-contamination.
