Role: Kitchen Porter

Hours: 0-40 hours (Part & Full-Time available), including weekends & bank holidays.
Relationships: General Manager, Executive Head Chef, Kitchen Team

With two onsite dining locations, guests can choose from The Dining Room with dishes inspired by the rugged North Sea and Durham countryside or The Ozone restaurant nestled in the vibrant Serenity Spa drawing on Pan-Asian influences.

We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team in providing a clean and safe working environment too agreed standards within The Dining Room or The Ozone.
The ideal candidate
- Previous cleaning experience is desired
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered
- Ability to effectively interact with management, and team members in a professional manner
- Be a team player as well as an individual worker
- To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
- Must have transport

Financial
- To Control stock of all cleaning equipment and chemical products using a systematic approach
- Control stock movement and ensure stock security
- To actively promote correct usage of chemicals
People
- To attend and contribute to team meetings
- To actively promote a attitude of Hygiene and methodical cleaning amongst all team members
Service/Product
- To evaluate performance of process and procedures on a regular basis
- To avoid chemical and water wastage by following Manufacturers guidelines and training
- To keep kitchens in a clean and presentable manor at all times
- Report any maintenance issues to the head chef immediately
- To follow all cleaning schedules and routines
- Use all Machinery as instructed by manufactures guidelines
