We have an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic and energetic to work alongside a small brigade of kitchen assistants in a high-volume staff restaurant. As a Kitchen Porter with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action, working in a very friendly and stable environment.

The Role

- Integrate into a team, supporting with all aspects of the working environment
- Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site to comply with company and statutory regulations
- Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe environment
- Keep in line with our standards of accuracy
- Represent our teams always thinking of Client satisfaction
- Be responsible for the sites stock and any cash/takings belonging are handled appropriately and carefully managed

About You

- Experience in a similar role preferred
- An ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability

The Role

- Duties will be varied and include helping with serving and preparing food, staffing our café bars, and general cleaning
- Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site
- Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe environment
- Keep to deadlines, with prompt service of meals in line with our standards of accuracy
- Represent our catering & operations teams always thinking of Client satisfaction

About You

- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
- Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene
- You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer
- Understand customer needs putting them first, ensuring their experience is a pleasant one
- A talented team player who works well with others
