We are looking for Kitchen Porter to assist the Kitchen and Back of house team with store and logistics including checking and unloading deliveries, manual handling of goods, stock counting and rotation and food temperature control.
You will need to check food deliveries quickly and thoroughly ensure all administration is signed off and checked for quality. You will support the BOH Kitchen team with washing up and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
This role will also be responsible for daily cleaning and refilling of the onsite coffee machine and kitchenette areas
This is a full time role 40 hours per week .
Key responsibilities are to:
- Receive and check deliveries and take food temperatures
- Organise and clean fridges, freezers and dry stores daily
- Comply with all health and safety and food safety regulations, processes and procedures
- Ensure stock is rotated properly and all food is stored in line with food safety guidelines
- Work as part of the catering team supporting each other to deliver a great service
- Washing up and re-stocking pots, pans, cutlery and crockery
- Daily clean and refill coffee machines at the site
This role would be ideal for a passionate foodie wishing to start a career in catering or and experienced kitchen porter wishing to join a great team.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate an affinity with our values, a track record of providing great food in a fast-paced environment, creativity, initiative and a positive attitude to team work. You will have some previous experience is necessary, however, we will support the right candidate with further training and development
