An exciting, new, senior role has been created at Civerinos. We are looking for a chef to head up one of our busy slice bars. We want a chef who doesn’t look back at what the industry ‘was’, but who looks forward to what the industry should be. Someone who is able to navigate the current challenges, and ultimately reap the rewards this bold, new, hospo dystopia will create.
Your approach to your culinary teams will set the tone within the center of our business, your ability to train will set up our chefs of the future and your leadership skills will help in guiding them to reach their full potential while at Civerinos and beyond.
The Role:
You will be based at promslice slice Portobello. From there, you will oversee the operations of our kitchen and it’s team working closely with GM to ensure a seamless working environment and service for our guests
As well as being a badass chef during service hours you other responsibilities will be:
- Full journey of your culinary team. From recruitment - performance management, training and development.
- Maintain and ensure a positive working environment within our kitchen teams
- Spot talent and develop where possible
- Maintaining and raising profit margins through effective cost controls.
- Overseeing labour controls
- Reacting to business trade and redeploying team members where needed
- Overseeing all food safety compliance
