Job Description:
We are actively seeking punctual, reliable, enthusiastic carpenter / kitchen fitter on a full-time bases who is willing to learn new skills with a well-established construction company. Our sites are predominantly within London area, but some outside of London travel will be required. Please note, this position is demanding and fast-paced which requires applicants to use own their initiative and be good at problem-solving while maintaining professionalism and a great eye for detail.
Duties would include:
· Read and interpret design plans - measure and mark the areas of work in accordance with design plans and layouts
· Assemble and install cabinets
· Modify cabinets as necessary around pipes and other obstructions leaving neat and clean cuts
· Cut to size and install fillers, end panels, doors, handles, cornices, pelmets, plinth, and any other internal accessories. Must know how to scribe.
· Measure and cut wood/laminate worktops, recesses and joints. Must know how to create miter joints.
· Simple plumbing
· Painting/Decorating/Tiling preferable, but not essential
Skills:
· Excellent carpentry skills
· Basic plumbing and electrics
· Basic decoration skills
· Self-driven and have a good eye for detail
· Must be willing on taking any additional tasks that might be required

Construction experience is essential and ideally you will have your own tools and car. DBS checks carried out on all applicants.
Schedule:
· 8:00 – 18:00
· Monday to Friday (weekends might be required occasionally)
License/Certification:
· Driving license
· Relevant qualification

Salary: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
