Job description
Our organisation is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in kitchen-related duties such as food prep, dishwashing and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen supplies are present and in good condition and that any necessary maintenance is done promptly. The Kitchen Assistant will also be responsible for interacting with customers, answering questions about menu items and assisting the head chef as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic functions in the kitchen and related areas.
- Work under general supervision., under direction of management and kitchen supervisors.
- Perform basic duties in the kitchen, freezer, and meat cutting room.
- Clean kitchen areas.
- Respond to requests for food and supplies.
- Handle and store food products using proper techniques.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week
Salary: £10.42-£10.80 per hour
