Job description
We are currently seeking to employ a Kitchen assistant & General assistant couple or two friends for our 7 bedroom country pub on the rural and picturesque Ardnamurchan Peninsula on the West coast of the Scottish Highlands.
As Kitchen assistant of Kilchoan Hotel you will be required to work closely alongside our head chef plating during service, daily food prep as well as the responsibility of working breakfast shifts alone.
Essential skills:
- Able to prepare fresh ingredients to a high standard
- Deal with deliveries and stock rotation
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Maintain high standard of hygiene
- Good attention to details
- Passion for food and striving for a progression
- Great communication skills with team
As General Assistant you will assist in all areas of the hotel in delivering all round great service with typical duties being Bar, waiting, and housekeeping

Please note that the hotel is situated in very quiet isolated area in the Scottish highlands with absolutely beautiful surroundings and would be ideal for someone or a couple to work hard in a high paced environment through the peak season and save up a good amount of money!
You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom or have a Current Valid Visa in order to apply for this position.
Rate of pay is: £10.50
Live in accommodation provided for a small fee.
Start date is immediate with this position being seasonal up till End of October.
