The successful candidates will be expected to work a shift pattern to meet the needs of the service, which will include bank holidays and weekends. This is a fast-paced service supporting individuals with varying needs who require Emergency accommodation in times of crisis.
You will be expected to support the cook with the day to day running of the kitchen which includes liaising with suppliers, meeting environmental and food safety standards, maintaining all relevant checks and documentation, checking quality of produce and stock rotation, ensuring the quality of the food received meets the required standards. You will be expected to prepare and serve meals under the direction of the cook.
You will ensure all HACCP and Health and safety documentation is completed and updated to maintain standards.
You will undertake cleaning and domestic duties maintain cleanliness and infection control. You will be expected to undertake relevant training for the role. You will work as part of an experienced team, liaise with the Management team and regular supervision to support you in your role.
You will receive ongoing training to enable you to undertake your role safely and effectively.
