The opportunity:
As a kitchen assistant at Tamburino you will be responsible for aiding the smooth running of the kitchen by ensuring everything is prepared and clean for the chefs. Your role is crucial to the success of not only the kitchen but the whole restaurant and customer experience.

Key accountabilities:
- Cleaning countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
- Making sure the kitchen is cleaned and ready for the next day
- Maintaining organisation in the food storage areas such as freezers and refrigerators
- Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen
- Washing cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher
- Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
- Supporting the chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling, and washing food items
- Providing assistance to all the chefs and peers
- Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors
- Any other relevant duties directed by the chefs

Job Role Summary
As kitchen porter at Tamburino you will be responsible for helping the kitchen running smoothly and that no matter how hot the chef may be, if there are no clean pans nothing is going to get cooked. That means that your role will be crucial to the success not only of the kitchen but the whole restaurant and customer experience.
Job Description
- Cleaning countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
- Making sure the kitchen is cleaned and ready for the next day before closing
- Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
- Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen
- Washing cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher
- Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
- Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
- Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling and washing food items
- Providing assistance to all the chefs and peers
- Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors
- Any other relevant duties directed by the Chefs
