We are Putt Putt Noodle! We are an Asian Inspired mini golf concept created by the team behind Flip Out & Boom Battle Bar. We have huge expansion plans to take over the crazy golf scene - with plenty of venues opening across the nation. Our venues include Asian Inspired Noodle & Sushi Bars and Fully stocked bars - DID SOMEBODY SAY COCKTAILS?! Life is a party with Putt Putt Noodle. We have party packages for all age groups - children and adults! Our team create unforgettable experiences, one putt at a time - our guests join us for 18 holes or even as much as they can play!
We are now on the lookout for a fab new Kitchen Assistant to join our back of house team assisting in the creation of our sushi dishes!
You will report to the Head Chef. You will work alongside the Back of House team to make sure we serve brilliant sushi and keep our kitchens clean and organised.
Your working hours will depend on the needs of the business – flexibility is essential, as you will required to work daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the BOH, FOH and management team to ensure our guests receive delicious sushi each and every time!
- Strive for perfection, one dish at a time
- Communicate clearly and effectively with your teammates to ensure all orders are processed without any delays.
- Assist Front of House team when needed.
- Have excellent personal hygiene standards and always wear a clean uniform.
- Prepare all food as per our standards making sure all items are correctly date labelled.
- Assist with unpacking and put away deliveries, ensuring food and other items are stored in the correct location.
- Follow checklist to ensure daily opening and closing duties are completed correctly.
- Complete weekly deep cleaning duties.
- Clean-as- you- go throughout your shifts making sure your kitchen is tidy and well organised.
- Know food we serve and all the recipes.
- Ensure all ordered food is packed correctly.
- Use all equipment correctly and make sure it is kept clean.
- Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety rules and procedures.
- Report any food or equipment issues to Head Chef or General Manager
- Make sure all orders are prepared and served correctly- always double check the ticket.
- Assist with food stock rotation to reduce wastage.
- Use, clean and maintain equipment correctly to keep maintenance and energy costs low.
- Always work with your team to maximise order volume and improve speed of service.
Who we are looking for:
- Previous Professional Kitchen Experience
- Would be ideal if you have Sushi preparation experience
- Be a team player
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Hungry to learn and develop your skill set
- Strong food hygiene knowledge
- Good eye for detail
