Due to the ongoing success of the business, Rangemoors is looking for a motivated and energetic Retail and Trade Sales Advisor to join our growing innovative team.
No two days will be the same in our warming hub surrounded by the outreaching countryside. This role would be fantastic for a real people person with a previous background in retail or administration and the ambition to get stuck in.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and develop their knowledge, including technical regulations and will provide full support and training to help you thrive in your new role. You will work as part of the sales team to identify our customer needs and provide tailored solutions with a positive can do attitude.
Your primary focus will be to build long-term loyal relationships with our customers, help them understand our products, and provide technical assistance throughout the sales process and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
- Respond to technical inquiries and provide technical support to customers.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and sales quotes.
- Converting quotes into sales orders, ordering of stock, taking deposit and balance payments.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new product developments.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in admin / office-based work or customer facing retail roles.
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at C or above.
- A good understanding and practical use of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Effective time management will be essential in this role. You will have to continuously prioritize tasks to make sure all areas are running smoothly.
- Strong written and verbal communication – ability to deal with a variety of people, from management and colleagues to customers and suppliers.
- Attention to detail is key. You will get information in a variety of ways from colleagues and customers. You will need to sense check this before producing quotes, organising site visits and deliveries.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed. This role is office based and does not offer remote working.
Desirable:
- Experience of Exchequer or other similar accounting software would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
- An understanding of chimney and flue systems or other similar building or construction projects
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
