Job description
We are looking for a reliable person with a mature mindset to join our hardworking team at the Olympus Restaurant. We are committed to providing high-quality food to our customers and our staff are paramount to that.
You will be working alongside our Kitchen Supervisor and so must have the ability to work as a team and take pride in your work.
The following tasks will be carried out as part of this role:
- Setting up workstations and equipment/ingredients ready for use
- Washing & drying plates/silverware/glassware/etc
- Keeping the kitchen clean & tidy
- Complete a food hygiene & safety course (if qualification is not yet held)
- Following food hygiene & safety regulations
- Cleaning equipment before and after use
- Keeping workstations clean & tidy
- General cleaning duties
The following tasks may be carried out as part of this role:
- Prepare certain menu items (from burgers to desserts)
- Assist takeaway staff with plating up during busy periods
- Rotate stock and use date dot stickers to ensure the freshness of our ingredients

Working hours of the kitchen are between 8.30am and 7.30pm. Short shifts and long shifts are available. This role would suit someone who would like a part-time position of around 20-25 hours per week. More hours will be available for the right candidate.
